Fee Structure
Housing:
Off-campus student housing can be arranged by the university. The cost is not included in the tuition fee. Student must be prepared to $250-$600 per month to rent an apartment while studying off campus.
Health Insurance:
Health Insurance is mandatory for every student attending WUB. Students can either enroll in the insurance plan provided via WUB or students can provide proof of private coverage prior to commencement of the current semester, to the Bursar.
Clinical Attire:
Clinical attire, consisting of lab jackets and scrubs, dissection kits and patient examination kits are a one-time expense of approximately $500.
Refund Policy & Regulations:
Refund Policy applies to all students who choose to pay the full tuition fee by semester and yearly basis.
Withdrawals:
Request for a withdrawal from WUB must be addressed and hand delivered to the Dean of Medicine. The student must have a valid reason for withdrawal.
The date permitted to officially withdraw from WUB, will be issued after the Dean has received the request and after the committee of Admission Affairs approves it. The approval of the withdrawal will be sent through the mail or other delivery systems.
Charges such as deposits, fees, printed materials are may not be prorated nor refunded. However, if a refund is granted it will be issued within 90 days of withdrawal. Withdrawals prior to matriculation, the university levies an administrative charge of $1000.
Tuition Refund:
A tuition only applies to continuing students who leave after:
Two weeks attendance or less – 40% refund.
Three weeks attendance – 30% refund.
Four weeks attendance – 20% refund.
Students who send refund applications 30 days after eaving the university, are not eligible for refunds.
Textbooks
Students must purchase their own textbooks and can purchase them through the university’s bookstore.
